Introduction

ImagineMyPet ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the ImagineMyPet mobile application ("App").

Age Requirement: The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App or provide any information. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Information You Provide Directly

Account Information:

• Email address (required for account creation and authentication)
• Password (encrypted)
• Optional: Pet name, pet sex/gender

User-Generated Content:

• Reference photos you upload
• Text prompts you write
• AI-generated images and videos
• Community posts (if you choose to publish content)

Payment Information:

• Processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We do not directly collect or store payment card details
• We receive transaction confirmations and receipt data via RevenueCat

Information Collected Automatically

Device Information:

• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• Unique device identifiers
• App version

Usage Data:

• Features used within the App
• Generation history (images/videos created)
• Token balance and transaction history
• Timestamps of account activity

Push Notification Tokens:

• Device push tokens (if you grant notification permissions)
• Used solely to send you notifications about token refills and generation completion

Analytics Data:

• App crashes and errors
• Performance metrics
• Feature usage statistics
• Collected via Firebase Analytics

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information:

With AI Service Providers

• Your reference photos and prompts are sent to fal.ai for AI processing
• fal.ai routes requests to Google Veo, OpenAI Sora, or nano-banana models
• This is necessary to provide the core generation functionality

With Backend Service Providers

• Firebase stores your account data, content, and usage information
• RevenueCat processes your subscription and payment data
• These services operate under strict data processing agreements

For Legal Reasons

• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or government requests
• To enforce our Terms of Service
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users

Community Content

• If you publish content to the Explore feed, it becomes visible to other App users
• We may share your community content on our social media channels for promotional purposes (with credit when possible)

Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
• Generated Content: Retained until you manually delete it via the App
• Reference Photos: Retained until you manually delete them
• Deleted Content: Permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered
• Logs & Analytics: Retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting and service improvement

Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings > Delete Account
• Correction: Update your email address or account information via Settings
• Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw Consent: Disable push notifications or delete your account to stop data collection
• Opt-Out of Marketing: We do not send marketing emails

How to Exercise Your Rights

• Delete Account: Settings > Delete Account (permanent and irreversible)
• Delete Content: Tap any image/video in your gallery and select Delete

California & GDPR Rights

If you are a California resident (under CCPA) or EU resident (under GDPR), you have additional rights:

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Firebase Authentication with encrypted passwords
• Cloud storage with access controls
• Regular security audits

However: No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Responsibility: Keep your login credentials secure. Do not share your password. Use a strong, unique password.

Cookies & Tracking

The App does not use cookies. We use Firebase Analytics to collect usage data as described above. You can limit analytics tracking through your device's privacy settings, though this may affect app functionality.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States. By using the App, you consent to these transfers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email.
